Duane narrates Texas historical markers as you drive past them — hands-free, eyes up. Here's how to get the most out of him, and how to reach a human.

Getting started

Tap Start Drive Mode and let Duane watch the road ahead. When a marker's coming up, he tells its story.
Use Explore to browse markers on the map, filter by theme (Civil War, Outlaws & Lawmen, Ghost Towns, and more), or search by name, county, or town.
Check Home each morning for the "On This Day in Texas" story.

Common questions

Duane isn't finding markers. Make sure Location is turned on for Duane in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. Duane only uses location while you're driving.

A story won't play. Duane's voice streams over the internet; if you're off the grid, he'll read the marker with your device's voice instead. Check your connection and that your volume isn't muted.

How do I clear my history? Settings → Reset all progress removes your heard and saved stories from your device.

Will there be CarPlay? It's on the way.
