Vogel Cemetery

Duane's take

The way the marker tells it, here's what I know about Vogel Cemetery. Somewhere in Bexar County, there's a patch of ground that's been holding its silence since nineteen fifteen. That's the year Vogel Cemetery was established, and friend, some places don't need a long story to carry weight.

They just need time. And this one's had it. The cemetery earned its designation as a Historic Texas Cemetery in two thousand and eight, which means someone looked at that ground, looked at those years, and said, yes, this place matters.

Vogel Cemetery. Established nineteen fifteen. Still out there.
